Another Birthday

The last birthday sign of the year. We have recently moved into a little farm house with very little wall space. This window needed a curtain and the birthday sign seemed to be an excellent solution. Of course, we shall have to see what the weather will do to it. In case you can't read modern Hunt hieroglyphics, it says "HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY MARISSA".

Nichole has become the resident birthday cake maker. She knows how to do the BEST layer cakes. And she makes them however we want! Marissa asked for a white or yellow cake with chocolate frosting and a layer of Heath candy bar sprinkled over the top. It was quite yummy, but very RICH. Happily, we had ice cream to go with it. Notice dinner on the counter in front of Marissa.

With Tim gone, someone else had to step up to the fire-starting plate. For this birthday, we had a fire starting team.
