February Fun

Who knew that February could be so much fun??? We started off the month with a BIG trip. Jamie, Esther, and Cerena got to ride in the big white van for two days. It was fun to stop at comfy hotels with swimming pools along the way. It was also great fun to count all the bridges between Wyoming and our home in Washington. Can you believe that there are over 100? Wow! On our trip we got to see lots of fun birds and animals. We saw horses, cows, antelope, deer, hawks, and eagles. We looked for the wild mountain sheep that sometimes climb around the hillsides along the Columbia Gorge, but they kept themselves well hidden.

Look, Jess! Aren't they cute together?
This girl has the most beautiful smiles.
Everyone LOVES Jamie! She is such a wonderful big sister.

Here is that funny face again!
Esther was trying to be a silly girl by putting the goldfish can on her foot. I thought the smile was just precious.
Cerena and I making our silly faces.
I love getting snuggles from both sides.
Nichole and Cerena being very cute together. What do you think Jess?
Big sister Jessica made these cute little tutus for the girls. They LOVE them. Esther doesn't ever want to take hers off.

Esther trying out the ballet moves in her new tutu. Thank you so much, Jessica!
This is one of the best action shots I have been able to get so far. I don't think her feet are even on the floor!

Um, Jess. . . Cerena seems to like being cute with everyone!
Cerena loves peanut butter sandwiches.
Rachelle loves hot chocolate!

But I dont' know if anyone likes anything as much as Esther likes ramen noodles. When we were having hot chocolate after lunch the other day, Esther asked for seconds on the noodles INSTEAD of the hot chocolate! Maybe that is because noodles are so much fun to eat?

Rachelle likes to do school on the couch with Ludo. Hey Cynthia, see how big your kitten is getting?
There is always enough time to squeeze in a little tickling! We all love the sweet sounds of Esther and Cerena's happy laughs.
I love everything this chair holds. . .

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. What beautiful souls!

Notice how her shirt and eyes match so well.
Marissa and Cerena decided to take a hike. . .
(Notice the little pile of folded laundry in the background.)
Rachelle wanted to join in on the fun.
So they made a hiking train.

Ahhh, I have actually made a little progress on Mt. Washmore!
Nichole is excited about some advertising that arrived in the mail today. She is trying to get the hiking train to stop and take a look.
Later on, Marissa decided to bake some cookies. Esther and Cerena wanted to help.
They placed the dough onto the cookie sheet. . .
Then cleaned up the leftovers. . .

Um, there seem to have been quite a lot of leftover dough!
Here are their beautiful cookies. They tasted wonderful!
Ludo must be going through a growing spurt because this is what she does most of the time these days.
Esther loves to have Marissa draw pictures of fairies on the little dry erase board for her. She will carry the picture around all over the place, then put it on the refrigerator for safe keeping.
The girls just got some new shoes, and this box made for excellent drawing inspiration for Esther and Marissa.
